Put your sprocket over it and see if the bolts match up with the holes on it. Make sure they are the same size.

No, you should wash the grease off until it's nice and shiny and dry. The grease is just for postage. If you leave any of it on it will damage the sprockets.

Take a basterd file and remove all those jagged bits on the sprocket before you ruin the new chain.
I've seen those jaggedey-arsed bits wreck a chain in about three years before.. Sad
