Now never having been close to a live fox at the weekend I was presented with this to hold at a local animal sanctuary.

He has brain damage (the cub not me) and was found wandering the streets of Bristol, he is going to be rehabilitated as best they can and used to show children at the sanctuary when he is old enough.

I have never been to an an animal sanctuary before, I didnt realise it was run entirely by volunteers, not a single person gets paid there. I left donating a fiver (was all I had on me) I wish I could donate them some of my time Sad

When I was working as a security guard in Glasgow, we had a fox that would come into the gatehouse and curl up in front of the fire every night

You can get yourself a domesticated fox from Russia. I assume they poke some holes in the box.

There was a documentary on about them a few years back. The domestication process was very Russian: they caught loads of wild foxes, ruthlessly murderkilled the majority that showed fear or aggression towards humans, and (in)bred the few that liked them. Repeat for a few generations, job done.

Funny. I worked for Group4 in Edinburgh and one came to our gatehouse every night at food time. I gave it an extra strong mint one night and it took it for a moment, spat it out and never came back.

There is a family of them that live in the back garden, they make too much noise sometimes though!

They seem to casually roam the streets round here

One of the places I go bird snapping, the foxes will often watch where you put monkey nuts down and then later nick them Laughing Caught this little chap eyeballing me from cover:

A fox will go into a chicken house, kill all the chickens and take only one.

Cats are evil barstewards, even with their bellies full of something tastey that cost £2 per tin they will catch a bird/mouse (they don't bother rats contrairy to belief) and torture the poor creature for ages until it finally kills it.
When an animals kills for food thats different cats do it for fun.

So next time your stroking a pussy remember what evil lies beneath Smile

I went to the animal place the other day... its like a farm but you get to hold the animals and shit. Asked to hold a ferret, one guy said come back later and we might get one out.

Went back about half hour before it opened again and another guy was like yeah, they might nip. Pfft I've have vicious little ones that eat cats, these will be fine.

I want that little fox Sad

D'awww...

I've seen a few urban foxes when I lived down Brighton way, bold little buggers. They'd see me coming, move six feet out of the way until I was past, then move back and carry on with whatever they were doing.

Even saw one get chased by a badger, which was interesting.

Aww cute fox! There's a couple of foxes on some wasteland behind my mates house - they're awake in the day and asleep at night, all kindsa screwed up. We call them the crack foxes (stolen from the Mighty Boosh)

https://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090525095029/mightyboosh/images/3/38/LoadedDec07crackfox.jpg

I don't know how you left that place without taking the fox with you, I well would have wanted to keep it! They make crazy noises though Shocked
