Hello all

I have a wobbly bar issues. When the bike is slowing or going slow if you take you hands of the bars the bars get a wobble on.When i put my hands back on it stops?.it's like a mini tank slapper but no where near as bad.Going at normal road speeds it is fine only when going slow.I have noticed sometimes when leaning over front slightly feels like it wants to tuck under.Tire pressures are good and no oil is seen on the forks. We did fit new seals a few weeks ago could these be fucked already.cheapo specials from e-bay..

thank you for any help

Check the front wheel axle incase it is bent, front wheel bearings and the headstock bearings/cups for wear.

Sure about the tyre pressures?

I've found if the XJ has the front tyre a few PSI too high then the front tucks in easily but feels like it wants to fall.

I also get the mini-tank slapper. It generally only appears if removing hands at 5.5k RPM. 5k or 6k is fine, strange.

Should be either 32f 36r (handbook) or 36f 42r ( Bridgestone website). Always have a pressure difference of 4psi between front and back.

wobbly bars
oily airbox
shitty gears
diiiiverrrrsssioonnnn Exclamation

My err valves? Have gotten loud recently, since it fell into neutral giving it beans and I heard a loud like pressure escaping sound, it seems louder, all clicky, what i'd attribute to badly adjusted clearances on a CG, but obviously the engines completely different

Should I get on that sharpish?
Vat ist?
It's really loud from around 4k Sad

To destroy or damage a bulletproof or highly mechanically regarded piece of machinery: "He really did an alpha on that!".

No loss of power from what I can see
Will need to, dunno where to start, I assume rocker off...
I am amazing, all I try to do is rag the shit out of it up to 70 as fast as I can on a hot engine but the gears always fucks me over and derp neutral, and pushing down to one unless i'm practically stopped will wildly chew the gears together like BRRRRRRD the sound of two cogs spinning and rubbing against each other but not clicking in Mad

Not gangsta bro

Need haynes manual, got online but no good to me when i'm outside
Times like this I need an ipad fag

Done like 700 miles on it so far... Oil leak from airbox seems to have gone and have put fresh oil in not too long ago. on 18k atm and I imagine service interval is around now or 20k

This
or
yokes on the piss.

Undo the top yoke nut, loosen the bottom yoke clamps, bounce down a good few times (not forward), tighten top yoke nut, tighten both lower clamps.

Teme and me have just had to do the same on my zxr as it was weaving.

but i'd deffo get the front wheel balanced again though.

You sure the rear wheel is in straight? Don't always go by the measurements on the adjusters, get a ruler out and measure from the swingarm pivot to the axle.

Tyres are fairly new then?
