 Posted: 14:24 - 29 May 2013 Post subject: Bandit GSF 600 2005 ideas? |
 |
|
Hi,
I have a Suzuki Bandit GSF 600 on an 05 plate, it has been lowered as I am 5foot5 with an inside leg of 27 inches.... I know!!!
I have been riding a total of three years and have only just learnt how to tighten my chain... I still do it under supervision....
How can I alter the bike to make it look better? simple things that I can do myself or get someone knowledgeable to do.
Thanks for any input no matter how sarcastic ____________________ 1st: Suzuki Marauder GZ125 > Now: Suzuki Bandit GSF600 - also gettin a 1994 virago on the road |

Rag the cunt out of it, crash it, drop it.
Then, when it looks rough as fuck stop being a tart. Fit a set of sticky as fuck tyres (120/60/17, 160/60/17 Bridgestone S20's), drain the fork oil & refil it with decent 10w and a few ML extra. Stuff a couple washers in the top to up the preload a smidge. Stuff a little screen on it, it makes it easier to go fast. A 55/60W h4 bulbs a good bet cause you can see where you're going. New chain and sprockets, -1 tooth on the front sprocket. 14/47 & a 110 link 530 pitch chain. EBC HH-sintered pads front and rear, goodridge braided hoses & fresh fluid. EBC heavy duty clutch springs are a safe bet & cost about £8 to do, makes the clutch much more snappy.
Then thrash it till it blows up.
Then sling a GSXR750 motor in it. Then hoon it around some more.
Or put dommies, renthals and a bellypan on it and go on about how much of an awesome streetfighter it is to everyone. Which is what most opt for...and will get lol'd at a lot. ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.

Hey, mine still gets ragged to fuck
Honestly though the renthals I picked up for a fiver, they're wider and maybe it is phsycological but they felt alot more confidence inspiring around corners.
i'm not trying to make mine something it isn't, I'm just into changing things around. Not really into the whole standard thing ____________________ current; beemer 5 series! |

Belly pan,
Aftermarket exhaust,
Renthal handlebars,
LED or small indicators,
Seat cowl,
Radiator cover that says 'bandit',
Bar end mirrors or coloured bar ends
Rim tape stickers
Braided brake lines (in red or blue)
and a tail tidy with a smaller number plate |

cheers,
It has a Scorpion exhaust....guessing thats aftermarket?
It has Renthal handlebars
Whats a seat cowl?
I have seen the Goodridge Braided lines, but only in silver... think they look good like that
how much realistically would all that cost? ____________________ 1st: Suzuki Marauder GZ125 > Now: Suzuki Bandit GSF600 - also gettin a 1994 virago on the road |
