Hi all,

Long time no speak, but my wife's Ducati 748 was stolen from my garage. It has no right hand fairing on and no battery at the moment. They moved two other bikes out the way to get to it. They also stole the Abba Stand it was on and all my fitting kits.

If anyone hears or sees anything, please could you let the police know. It wasn't insured as we were waiting for an old policy to expire before putting it on the road due to NCB, which is also why there was no battery, as it was being charged.

We're obviously both absolutely gutted.

There's been a recent wave of Ducati's nicked recently. I would use Twitter, Facebook and the other forums as well, the more people know the better

Identifying marks are tank had something scuff it and has a obvious touch up job, left hand indicator started letting water in, so it has electrical tape round it and the left hand fairing has a touched up scuff mark. Wheels were due to be powder coated and so have flaking paint and corrosion on them. Randomly too the calipers have rusty bleed nipples. It's hardly a good example of a 748, but it was our 748. They also took the Abba stand and the technicians kit.

Registration number is T520 HCK. Datatag have been informed as much of it was marked, police advised me anyone found with any of the parts will be up for handling stolen property as they are trying to clamp down on the stolen parts business.

There are loads of unlocked, uncovered sports bikes around this area, I stupidly believed the old saying of the best security is being near easier to steal and nicer bikes.

Sorry to hear.. I hope the thieving scum die from aids.

Last Monday I was approached by a white van when I was in a public car park getting on my bike and about to put my helmet on. The guy in the van opened the window and asked me whether I want to buy a telly Shocked I said no.. Sadly I didn't get his number plate. He approached a few other people in the car park then he left.

Why would anyone want to buy a telly like that? Very suspicious.

Hi all,

Long time no speak. Have over the past few weeks been getting myself ready to get back on the bike after 2 years of no riding and this happens.

A couple of other things identifiable:
Bent gear leaver
Rust on the sub frame
Datatagg sticker on the top yoke
A small crack in one of the clocks
Red pillion seat black riders seat but I think that might be standard.

I had cleaned all of it bar the nose cone and let hand fairing and ACF50'd it too just last week. That'll teach me for touching it.

Please if anyone can help please give me or Thames Valley police a shout I will reward anyone who aids in the recovery.

Thank you for any help anyone can give.
