I'm currently working towards my A2 licence & have my eye on a nice 2nd hand ER6N. I've scoured the web aswel as eBay, gumtree etc in search of a 46.6/35kw restrictor kit, phoned up my local bike garage & even they don't know how they'd get hold of one...

Any idea's? I know ninja650's comply with the new licensing laws that came through in Jan13, I just can't find a restrictor kit for them! D:

Help wanted! Let me know if you're aware of anywhere I can get hold of one or something similar to suit. Thanks in advance Smile

Wouldn't bother personally but you can just restrict the throttle.

If it doesn't bother you (it shouldn't really...) just pop the 33hp kit in there.

I've got a 33Bhp kit for sale £30

The thing is there is only one hole in the throttle for a restriction, so I can't see how there could be a different version for it. Also there is a torque restriction via the diag plug (just a shorted wire). Obviously the newer bikes are either A2 compatible straight away, or as they are newer ones I think they are ECU restricted which allows for my finite adjustment of Bhp class I guess.
