So recently I discovered that my vity is leaking... It looks like black wet tar coming from underneath the bike Confused It actually managed to squirt a bit on my exhaust...

Just so you know I think i might have a fuel pump issue as it had trouble starting up before. The engine light came on for a bit so I remembered the code/amount of times it flashed and asked the Yamaha dealer to tell me what it means. They said it looks like its the fuel pump going slowly ( I only had issues starting it up twice within like 2 months).

My question is; could this be related to the fuel pump ? what does it look like to you? And yes I will take it to the yamaha dealer on Monday but I was hoping someone could help me out today so i know roughly what to expect Laughing

btw; 260 quid for a new fuel pump with installation from a yamaha dealer?! thats a little pricey Shocked

Drop oil and change sump plug and seal/washer before you go near dealer! Worth a try. Looks like oil leaking from plug.
