He asked where it's manufactured.

Enter the VIN at https://www.whomademybike.com and see what it says.

But, because of the appalling grammar, it is uncertain he is asking about a bike, or Gilera bikes in general Confused

I always thought they were Italian, I know they're definetly not Chinese based company and are much better made than Chinese bikes.

They're Italian branded, but I'll be astonished if they're made anywhere other than Whang Dong Province.

As to "better made", if they were any less reliable we'd need a whole new Workshop section just for them.

Gilera motorcycles are made by Piaggio in Italy, they bought Gilera in the late 60's and closed the original Gilera factory at Arcore in the early 90's.

FWIW the Piaggio Group, like most manufacturers now, outsource stuff to China...

Gilera have some truly amazing innovations on their scootaz, most notably the push-pull vacuum-tap-cum-fuel-pump system that requires you to dismantle half the bike if you ever get anywhere close to running it out of petrol.
