Please post pictures of cars that you have actually seen and snapped that would only ever do it for a 15 year old chav. I spotted this heap today.

My bloke's called Barry and he doesn't look like either of them cars.

I'd drive the scruffy old top one (provided it cost less than 400 notes, but not the posey bottom one.

You'd have been doing the Midlands a favour if you just popped that bonnet open and removed anything that makes that engine start.

Quite like the first car you posted Embarassed

Really dislike chav cars which have an exhaust tip on a focus or some bling rims and use that as an excuse to have nismo written all over their car.

I do think modding can be done very well and tastefully in some cases, most the time its just Sick

Bonnet raisers, basically lets air in down to cool the engine. Normally fitted to cars when they are running large lumps that get hot.

What happened to doing it properly with bonnet vents like any decent performance car has?

As with anything like that it started as a quick measure to resolve an issue and then became "scene".
pretty sure it was originally a quick fix for drift cars that found their cooling problematic and didnt take long for the monkey see monkey do lot.
