Same shit happend with my ER-5 after I came out of work.. Massive hole dug into the ground with the tarmac starting to lift.... Moved the bike and stood on the stuff that lifted up into the hole to fill it back in a little.. whoopsie

mother in law just had her drive re-tarmac'd.. did this last week with the er5... oops! she's not impressed.

she ran out the other day to make sure i'd parked on the grass instead. told her it'd fall over and make divets, and put the side stand on the manhole cover for safety.

didn't have the heart to tell her it was cheap shite tarmac

I found my bike being held up by a parking bollard about a month ago,
bought a puck after that.

Work's car park had been ok until friday when I left a slight dent so using the puck there too.

I carry around an old Altoids tin lid to pop under the stand. I mostly park on grass though so I am more worried about it sinking into the mud.
