ranting day for me :@
called all local bike shops, one couldn't do anything till about 3, other was a bit of a pain to get to on public transport other one ive not used before but apparently good so called up asked about getting one wheel bearing removed and was told they dont know the cost depends how easy it is to get out, asked for a rough idea i was told "thats like asking how long a piece of string is"..
Not a good start.
got a train down took it in and told to come back in an hour and a half -2 hours... wtf is he doing in that time!
come back hour later to check to be told he can't do it as someones borrowed his bearing puller and itll have to stay there the night to which i told him it cant as i have things to do and i need it, he then said "i dont have a bloody magic wand" i told him its not good enough i phoned an hour before i came in and he left it an hour before telling me he has no bearing puller after smashing the inside of the bearing out, he decided it was time to basicly throw my wheel at me and told me to go and not come back.
got home to realise he hadn't given me my bloody spacer back either, called up.. said he was on his own so i now have to get back on a train to go get the spacer and then try find somewhere else to get it done.
what a bloody arse! ____________________ GOOD GAME BODYGUARD: https://i.imgur.com/8WePGgf.jpg

oh dude...
What do you need a bearing puller for? Find someone with a stick welder and run a ring around the inside of the bearing, when it cools down it'll fall out.

he wasn't busy he said to come down he would sort it, it wasn't a main dealer it was a small cycle/motorcycle shop.
he had over an hour to find the tool
he had an hour after he realised he didnt have it.
he then spoke to me like a piece of shit because i was unhappy about the the fact he started without propper tools and unable to finish then tell me it needs to stay over night till he can do it in the morning.
Its a 30 second job with the correct tools, but to then throw me out of his shop because i disagreed with having to wait a whole night.
I was pretty damn reasonable, he was an arse on the phone when i asked about getting it done but i still went down anyway, and now im here at 5pm with no wheel bearing in the wheel when i could have gone to the usual place and had it done whilst i waited.
now im not sure which part of this i was being a cunt towards him so please point it out to me.
shop name
hutchings motorcycles
deal

If it's such a piece of piss job with the right tools then why not nip to halfords, machine mart, *enter anywhere that sells automotive tools here* and do it yourself?

One front wheel bearing on the pan self destructed, took wheel out and dust cover off and most of it fell out, had to cut the outer ring in half with a dremel type thing to get it out as there was no angle to get a drift (screwdriver) on it to batter it out.
Surprised you didn't do it yourself, never used a puller on bearings. ____________________ Nobby the Bastard: How yo tell the difference between the actual japanese and her just screaming because she's had live fish stuck up her arse?
