oh dude...

What do you need a bearing puller for? Find someone with a stick welder and run a ring around the inside of the bearing, when it cools down it'll fall out.

Thumbs Up

name and shame the garage, pretty poor form to take the job without the tools and even worse to start the job without the tools and expect you to be fine with it

how bad was the bearing to knock the centre out.

i have done front, rear and sprocket carrier beaings in my back yard with a drift and hammer, its a 30 min job at most.

This, it's pretty easy and if it's really stuck in there then heat the wheel hub around the bearing and try again...

Also, pop the new bearing's in the freezer for an hour or three, makes fitting them easier but only tap* them around the outer edge, using the old bearing as a drift can work nicely.

* Note that's TAP, not TWAT, if you give them a good twating they will go in quick but not last long.

So some bloke managed to squeeze you in on the same day, no doubt he didn't realise his mate had the tool at the time, and you're whining like the little bitch you are?

You're such a cunt, try to stop being a cunt and you'll be treated less cuntishly.

Didn't really read this, but I rate it at 5 Young's Fish Fingers on spirit alone.

If it's such a piece of piss job with the right tools then why not nip to halfords, machine mart, *enter anywhere that sells automotive tools here* and do it yourself?

One front wheel bearing on the pan self destructed, took wheel out and dust cover off and most of it fell out, had to cut the outer ring in half with a dremel type thing to get it out as there was no angle to get a drift (screwdriver) on it to batter it out.

Surprised you didn't do it yourself, never used a puller on bearings.
