Given that my thread about my SV quickly turned into a slagging match against my bike, I thought I'd take the wisdom of BCF and explore another option for further down the line.

So, that said, in your opinions what are the best GSXRs out there? Years, engine sizes etc. I'm not after a 1000, it's a bit excessive IMO, so out of the 600 and 750, which, and what years are the better ones?

K4 750, But i am a bit biased.

Trackdays, Touring, Commuting, Combat Filtering. Fast as you like.

A tank fill up is 16-20 quid, Could get 150 miles if you ride like a saint, or 80 miles if you ride like a cunt Laughing

The 2004/2005 K4, K5 750 is regarded as the best 750 GSXR that Suzuki have made, I bought one based on this and am more than impressed, the K4/5 has much more oomph across more of the rev range than newer models and as such are a fantastic road bike.

Performance Bikes Magazine did a review stating this as well at the start of this year.

750WP. I regret selling mine so much I'm now scanning ebay, gumtree, and the other suspects for another. They have their share of problems, but the fixes are well documented, but which bike doesn't. A decent one can be had for £1200, I paid £900 for mine but I got lucky, £1700 for a minter.

Baring in mind I've never ridden any gixxer so based purely on things I've read, my head says a modern 750, my heart says the last of the 1100's.

A blue/white K5 750.

Anyone saying a K4 is an idiot. The colour scheme on the K5 looks much better.

If you're considering a whole range of bikes, who limit yourself to ones with those particular letters on them?
