One question to the king of bodges would a cracked mudguard with tape pass (yes might seem stupid and I am going to replace it). Oh will replace the cover that has broken on the fork as well.

Very Happy the bolt holding my rear brake was rusted solid so i couldn't move the axle forward for the new chain yesterday

...angle grinder to the nut, still rusted solid

...drill through the rusted remnants of the old bolt, and a new, quite thin bolt and locknut through to hold it in place

brakes a bit squishy but it's not much worse than before, pretty much just a foot operated brake light

My old 400 Superdream was a nice lesson in bodgework.

One of the lock stops was partially torn off, allowing the bars to hit the tank in one direction. This was fixed by putting a self-tapping screw into the tear/crack in the frame.

The rear sprocket carrier bearing was worn out; it already had two spacers where there should have been one, so a third was added to stop the sprocket wobbling.

One of the exhaust mounting studs on the cylinder head was snapped off, resulting in a bit of a blow. This was remedied by inserting a bolt wrapped in gaffer tape into the hole, to make it look like it was supported. The noise was sorted by disconnecting the coil around the corner from the MOT testing station and submitting it as a 'non-runner'. They never seemed to query why a non-running engine was mysteriously at full temperature.

Result... MOT pass Laughing

I've also had the same garage accept a bicycle bell on the handlebars as a horn.

Erm, I would just use exhaust paste, baked beans can/beer cans and exhaust bandage.

For an MOT, possibly some gaffer tape outside, just arrive 20 minutes early to let it cool.

Try apple-twist.co.uk

or

62.31.177.214

Let me know if it fails, I'll sort a no-ip.org out.

Netsweeper filtering...? You in a school? If it is London based....try again Wink

Don't forget fitting 'secondary fork seals', otherwise known as stuffing a bit of bog roll under the dust caps.

Your company filtering must allow host is an IP.

If you want to access sites, ping them from ping.eu and type https:// then that IP address in the browser. Laughing
