Don't worry about asking the dealer about breaking it in, ask him if the have courtesy bikes while it is in for repairs.
Any dealer worth their salt will advise you of anything like running in of engines, service plans etc. ____________________ My fingers smell of your mum. |

Some people on here will tell you to ride it like a granny for 600 miles, and then do a service.
Others will tell you to ride it like you stole it for 200 miles then do a service.
When I had my Keeway, I did what the people at the dealership told me. Had no problems until it mated with a taxi, so I'd do that if I were you ____________________ Current: '99 Fazer 600 | '99 Range Rover P38 4.6 HSE

If you're going to disparage something, get it right.
Should I ever have a brand new bike again, I will indeed thrash it like a red headed stepchild and then rapidly dump the oil.
If for no other reason than if it shits itself, then it was going to shit itself anyway, and I'd rather that it did it on day one so that I can just reject it out of hand.
Largely a moot issue: it's a commuter 125, you'll be wringing its neck all the time anyway. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
