Hello,

I'm looking to sell parts of my Motorbike which I stripped due to me being in a serious accident.

I have been searching ebay and do find some parts but all say different prices and most are buy it now. Not auction.

It's a Kawasaki ZX6R 1997 F3.

The frame was destroyed in it and fairings but do have most other parts still.

Just wondering if there is somewhere else to get rough prices for the parts?

I sound lazy but just want it all gone now. Because of obvious reasons.

Thanks.

Why not bay it? We know nothing about the condition of the bike or its parts.
You are being lazy.

Just start each CLEAN part 99p, no reserve. If people want it, they will pay. Just make sure you don't get stung on postage, it isn't as cheap as you think.

You will be surprised whats some things sell for. (and which don't sell at all)

First of all, do a thread in General Bike Chat to gain some interest..

Then, what they said. You need to clean and photograph each part or set of parts. Take one decent photo of each item, weigh and measure them to check what the postage costs are, look on the Royal Mail site and add packaging costs. Then stick them all up with 99p start.

Last of all, put a link to them in the For Sale section.

Try looking on a manufacturer / model specific forum?

The front end clocks and plastics were pretty much destroyed.

But the forks and wheels with good tyres on I believe are fine.

Thanks for the positive replies.

As you appear to be very lazy I would suggest sticking them all as 1 listing.

99p No reserve - job done.

I use eBay a lot and what i can say from my experiences are that people tend to steer clear of blurred / bad photo's, get a good photo of every item in a decent position, what i mean is don't just throw part on floor and take a picture, position it at a good angle so the buyer can see the condition for themselves.

99p start's are also very good, they attract a range of buyers. you could also put a reserve on the part you are selling for a price you would be happy to sell it for.

Also at the bottom of the listing's put other ZX6R parts for sale.

Hope this helps.
