6V electrics... Ducati Monza 160.... Help and advice needed.

Been putting it off for ages and ages, but thought nows a good time to replace and make a new loom for the monza as the one that came with the bike in a box is just a mess.

So working out what goes where from the mess using on old book which none of the wires colours is bloody hard.

Got a few done and replaced, but whats bugging me is this....

The monza has a pull key switch which goes in the light unit... and two little holes for some warning lights.

On the wiring diagram (2) is the 4 contact key {ghosted dotted lines}, but under it is one like it but no description... both are wired up to different areas.

I have no key switch with the bike, but i do have what looks like a weird push thing (like the ghosted out key ???)
Also on the diagrams theres no wiring for the warning lights ?

Well your ghosted out switch does look like it's supposed to earth out to kill the ignition.
I cant make out much more in the diagram.

I once got involved with the electrics on a Vespa. Italian electricity is not the same as English electricity, I still have bad dreams about that bike.
