When I'm noobing about I'm looking at all the bikes, but have no idea what I'm looking at unless is plastered on the side. A Bandit looks like a Hornet and all sports seem to look very similar, and all the adventure bikes look similar too.

Can you guys spot an R6 from 50 yards?

Bikes are a lot easier to tell from the front.

I think the shape, headlights etc. of vehicles (i.e. including cars) invoke some of the human face-recognition abilities.

Newer bikes I can recognise a mile off, but anything from the 80/90s is a bit harder for me to spot.

I can identify the common ones, all others I could identify would be ones I've come across by reading, or browsing here or the rest of the net. I'm far from being proficient.

I think its just what youre most intersted in, after long enough looking online theyre all easyish to spot unless miles off. I could tell you most sportbikes, but show me a cruiser and i wouldnt have a clue Embarassed

I know most stuff, I'm just sad, although I do struggle with the more obscure eastern bloc stuff, anc small capacity Chinese bikes.
