Every Sunday morning myself and mate are like..... Where shall we go?

If we all name somewhere we could build a really long list of interesting places to see.

It could be a tourist spot, a pub/cafe or just a great view/ride.

Starting with the county helps people to quickly zero in on places within reach.

I'll start......

Oxfordshire. Banbury Cross. Lots of off road parking to meet and chat for a while.
Some great roads to ride in the area. A422 and A421 across Bucks or the superb A4260 from Banbury down to Oxford.

Essex, Finchingfield.
Idyllic little mediaeval village, nice little tea shops, ducks wondering around village green etc. But some epic twisty road leading to it.

Op, get yourself into Baldock and take the A507 Clothall Rd out towards Buntingford, a road often referred to as the Buntingford TT.
Turn left when you reach the A10 and keep going 'till you reach the Silver Ball Cafe.
Go in and get your bacon on. Thumbs Up

Not the most stylish of places , but if you avoid the A14 and catch Felixstowe on a sunny morning, it`s not so bad. always able to get a cup of tea somewhere.

Do what I do , open the map and just look at a place name of somewhere that I`ve never heard of and then go there Thumbs Up

I`ve had a few disappointments doing it that way , but I`ve had one or two pleasant surprises as well.

Cumbria - Hartside Cafe. Highest cafe in England, in between Penrith and Alston with great twisty roads leading to and from it. Gets really crowded on sunny days though.

The bridport coast road between Westbay and Weymouth is brilliant.
There's a motorcycle parking spot in the centre of Westbay that's pretty much a motorcycle podium plus there is helmet city there.

Start at Hawes, go across to Leyburn and all the way to Whitby if you desire... excellent roads.

Could start from Kendal but I can't vouch for that one personally.

South Yorkshire/Derbyshire, Snake Pass. The A57 from Sheffield towards Manchester, starting at the Ladybower Reservoir winding your way towards Glossop.

There are a few places to stop for grub and a brew. 7 years tearing arse back and forth and I've not got bored of it yet. Thumbs Up

Keep an eye towards the sky during peak times for da fuzz innit Laughing

Isle of Man. Head down Glencrutchery Road on the A2. At Quarterbridge turn right on to the A1 and remain on this road until you reach Ballacraine, where you should turn right on to the A3. Follow the A3 all the way to Ramsey then join the A18 Mountain Road southbound towards Douglas. At Governor's Bridge re-join the A2 back on to Glencrutchery Road.
You have just completed a lap of the TT Course. Mr. Green

Been on this road quite a few times as I live in Leighton Buzzard.
From Hitchin I then tend to ride up the A600 to Bedford and then down then old Bedford Road past Stewartby. It runs parallel ish with the new bypass so cars don't really use it anymore.

Just did this one yesterday: The B4011 between Thame and Bicester and back. Very nice, twisty road that is relatively empty (for a road in the south east). For a break, we go up to Brill (turn into Brill Road in Oakley) and visit the windmill. There's a nice pub next door.

Beat me to it Mad We usually go past the cafe and to Penrith, mainly for KFC Very Happy Some times we will go all the way to the Lakes since it's not too far at that point.
