Booked my theory test on Monday, doing it today! Practised the test a lot, but not really looked at hazard perception.

Anyone got any tips?

Yes.

Read past threads: https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=278103

TL;DR version: Click when you spot a hazard, click again if/when it develops. Don't over-click.

Oh.

What was the issue. Failed clips? Low score?

Practice some online clicking tests, get used to what they want you to do. It's not accurate to life at all, it's just a computer click test.

Can I call 'em?

Chances are you were either clicking too early (they expect you to notice the hazard just in time), or perhaps not reacting to what they consider a hazard at all.

Sorry, it's complete tosh, but you do have to find out what they're expecting, grit your teeth, and do it their way. It's really just click-wait-click-wait-click to be sure that you get a click in the scoring zone without spamming them.

I clicked 3 times when an artic lorry did u-turn on an A road.

Once when it looked like it was slowing. Once when it began to turn. and once again when it was blocking the entire road.

'You have failed the clip for clicking inappropriately'

Oh really? Rolling Eyes

I just failed on low score - I definitely wasn't missing hazards, but I think I was clicking far too early, as in I clicked when I saw something presenting a hazard and would prepare to take action.
