Yes i know am a idiot but i have no idea how to take the seat off any help would be appreciated thanks.

I had the similar 750, but don't recall anything unusual about it.
Has someone modified it by bolting it down?

How did you take yours off the 750.

There is a lever on the side.
Look along the side edge of the seat.
On mine it's designed so you can put a small padlock through some holes to stop this lever (so locking seat on).

You pull it back and while holding it back pull the back of the seat up and slightly back. This releases also slides it out of the hook at the front.

When putting back on slide the front in so it hooks on the tab at the tank.
I've done it a few times and missed. Looks ok but not secured.
You can lift the front on the seat near the tank to check. If it lifts up try again Wink
