I'd like to go for a nice long ride on my own somewhere with a bagback with a bit of food, cigs and a nice internet connection.
Anyone got any stories? ____________________ Motorcycle riding can be really cozy. If you want to be a little closer to your passenger, brake a little quicker for the next stop. |

Yeah I dunno - think I got a bit lucky being between two (three if you count fimber in the woods at the incredulously named wetwang) bike fixated cafes. But there'll be something near to you I reckon.
Like cansa said there's always the obligatory weather topic to be got through - but after that I always plough into what bikes whoever I'm talking to has owned before the one they're on. Usually throws up interesting stuff.
But anyway, my favourite rides aren't fast ones - and would probably bore most bcf types rigid. I'd guess that the majority of miles I cover are on unclassified, very rural lanes - lots of blind bends, awkwardly positioned drifts of grit and plenty of massive, poorly driven mechanised agricultural machinery. Makes for "interesting" riding lol. There are straight stretches too though, where you can wind it on a bit - so it's a bit more varied than I'm making out. Other times I go into York, primarily to annoy grockles with my far-too-loud zorst. A bit of flitering is always fun, and some of the tiny, cobbled back streets have lots of strange ancient chapels huddled away, and bizarre, crooked Tudor timbered properties. Hardly a pegs-down, red-lining kinda thang - but for some strange reason I always enjoy it. ____________________ "Life is a sexually transmitted disease and the mortality rate is one hundred percent."

Sounds good trevar thats the sort I would be most into really, normal riding but if I find a long empty straight road.. one does not simply obey the speed limit ____________________ Motorcycle riding can be really cozy.
