You can drink, you'll fit in with other Dubliners.

Offer them a Guinness, job is yours.

The wife is Irish, I went to school there for a while.

I really wouldn't worry, Ireland is independant but hardly abroad.

The culture, food, language is virtually identical. People have sky Tv, read the same papers and the high street is virtualy the same. Argos, b&q tescos boots m&s etc.

Somethings are better no council tax, mots (nct) are every 2 years, but the health care is worse as you have to pay.

I'm guessing that Dublin is the interview, the actual work will be in Outer Elbonia.

Mark I have lived in Dublin a long time and will pm my number to ring if you need help getting around or what ever.
I'm no Fisty or Marm so you can't stay here and will not pick you up.

Make sure your phone has credit as it cost more to us a UK phone in Ireland.

Thankyou for the offer. I have to get from the airport to a hotel. So wondering if it is worth hiring a car or getting the bus. Because i don't know how long the interview and stuff will last for.

I thought we'd had a Dublin instalment before. Why not use the same hotel and services you used the last time you were out there for work?

Just had another email. Saying i have to be at the Red Cow hotel. And there is a bus from the airport too the hotel.
Still have no idea where to fly from.

Normally, I'm not arsed by the inane threads you post but please keep it original.

Don't forget the welding gear. Did it fit in the hand luggage last time? Rolling Eyes

Oh wait, it's the same story again...

Ever thought they just might be trying to tell you something in a nice way? Nobody takes 7 months to interview for a welder Shocked It doesn't even take that long for a Banana gasser

Does for the job i'm going for been narrowed down from 10,000 to 30. And it is time to meet the people from the company in ireland. And do weld/math/english tests before they make their final decision on who they want to work for them.

...again from the same thread.

For fuck sake, it wasn't even that long ago!
