Hi Guys! New to this forum.

Right here goes.
This morning I decided to change my front light bulb as the default ones are just terrible, dangerous at night in fact. Can't see a bloody thing with them. After I changed the lightbulb, I put it all back together as it should be. So i decided i'd go out for a spin for a little while. I put the key in the ignition and switched it on, but to my disgust, nothing worked! Just nothing. I kickstarted which worked for around 1-10 secs with the enging light blicking aslong as the engine lasts. The speedo and the rev + the fuel guage isn't working. also the lights on the bike are very faint, like it isn't getting enough power.

What can this be guys? could you help! much appreciated.

Fuse - blown by a damaged bulb holder connector.

Wrong powerband. You need to change it before you fry your wiring loom completely.

Sounds like bulb's too powerful! You want a 35/35w bulb in there, literally fitted a 35/35w halogen myself today and it's way better than the stock.
Make sure all the wires in and behind the headlight fitting are all still connected and nothing is shorting out - the fact that your gauges are messed up could indicate some wirings been messed up in the headlight. Then check your fuse in the battery compartment (YBR only has a 15A one) - though if it'd have blown nothing should work. If you're lucky you've not fried anything and it should work once you disconnect the headlight (or just take out the bulb) - that's if it is the bulb that's caused it.
