I don't know but would you not be better off buying a new big end and Conrod and get them put into the crank.

You do know that rebuilding a crank isn't something you can do in a shed?

I'm pretty sure that if you take it to someone with the correct kit to rebuild it, they will be able to remove the stuck bearing. It probably just needs a bit of heat.

Oh, and you'll need new seals as well.

A workshop would have the bearings off in seconds.

I don't see why not if you had the tools.

Quite a bit of equipment needed to rebuild a crank

Splitting and joining is a specialist job, as the tolerances involved are tiny.

first of all you have to make sure it is an 87 model by checking the frame and engine numbers with a dealer, a lot of people don't actually know what model they really have as they told by the previous owner who often bullshits prospective buyers to demand a higher price

however

rod kit from 1980 to 1987 are all the same, for mitaka £40.84 from here, plus main bearings at £20 the pair, fugging bargain

When you split the crank to change the bearing journal and the con rod and bearings it is super important the two halves of the crank web are as perfectly aligned as possible when it goes back together, if they are not then your going to get vibrations, tight spots, and bearing failure.

Take your crank to a specialist and have it reconditioned properly.

As above^^^^ it's actually quite a simple job so long as you have the gear...getting the right big end side clearance is also important. Labour for the rebuild in a kitted workshop is not much...you want to use someone who does plenty of them and most shops that do MX bikes will take less than an hour to do the job
