Sounds like bulb's too powerful! You want a 35/35w bulb in there, literally fitted a 35/35w halogen myself today and it's way better than the stock.
Make sure all the wires in and behind the headlight fitting are all still connected and nothing is shorting out - the fact that your gauges are messed up could indicate some wirings been messed up in the headlight. Then check your fuse in the battery compartment (YBR only has a 15A one) - though if it'd have blown nothing should work. If you're lucky you've not fried anything and it should work once you disconnect the headlight (or just take out the bulb) - that's if it is the bulb that's caused it. ____________________ Current Bike: 2008 Yamaha YBR 125 |
