Hi, I have a 2004 Honda XR125 and it has a connection problem(Turn the key and nothing, no power anywhere)

I have spent hours trying to find out the problem but got to the bottom of it. Behind the headlight is 3 big connectors, I disconnected all three the reconnected one by one (just for reference the colours)

please note that i disconnected the headlight connector but does not effect this diagnostics

1.clear connector connected - nothing
2 black connector connected with the clear one - got power
3 white connector connected with all - nothing again

(the white connector goes to the start button)

I disconnected the white one and got power again, Cleaned up the connections and tried again nothing (with a multi meter power is getting to the white connector from the main wiring harness. also when the start button part of the white connector is connected it is also getting power to all but one wire, no power wire colour is - solid black - believed to be ground/negative

Do you have any ideas what it could be - any help much appreciated

Thanks in advance
Adam Very Happy
