I know this has been raised before, but what is going on with the adverts?
When I am on my phone and only on my phone, I get adverts for Cougarlife, I don't use my phone for porn, I don't Google for cougars.

Now I am on the PC today, and I have an advert to browse 10000 single Asian womens profiles. I don't Google for this, in fact if I am looking at a pron, I use Internet Explorer which isn't synced to any Google account, and it is always in private/incognito mode.

These two ad's can't be muted or removed like most of the Google ad choices, there is no ad choice, they aren't interest based the Asian one appears to have come along with the Riderscan advert.

Not PC and it is not phone, others have had similar adverts as well.

Assuming, for whatever reason, Google can't figure out who you are, its going to make assumptions based on the page you are visiting.

What is the most common denominator on a motorcycle forum, after motorcycles? The liking of the Poontang. Thus poontang related adverts

On here it is my Google account linked up, but there is no Google ad choices link on the advert.

Seriously ever since this Riderscan advert has been showing up, remember that shitty mirror thing that no one on BCF really wanted, I have been getting these ad's, it also goes for Cougar life and a few others.

They are not Google based interest ad's, I can't mute them, they are not in my interest lists.

Also what's the point in having "not work safe" tags on threads when the adverts are bordering on not work safe.

Still there, on a different laptop, not signed into Google, it is either related to Riderscan or something, is something actually going to be done or am I just wasting my time? In which case should the feedback forum be abolished because 2 months now with nothing being done.

Maybe change your interest to one of them so at least you're just being offered money rather than Asian poon while at work Wink

Is anyone else having the same problem?

I have certainly seen no such adverts. It gives me electronic goods and stuff like that. Just what you'd expect in the normal course of the normal internet.

Usually if someone posts up a problem on this section, other people come along and confirm they are having the same problem.

No-one has after three months suggesting it might be just you and therefore the problem (whatever it is) is at your end?

So here is another one, I have now gone from my home laptop, to my work pc, which isn't linked to Google so there are no ad preferences and it shows up.

So to rule it out I have tried 3 other pc's and guess what, all the same, even on my other account it is the same (it's a known account by G and it is legit)

Then I logged out, from web browser, browsed the forum a bit more didn't think it would show up as I was just getting pink oblong, go to log in and, look I am not logged in, linked to Google and still NSFW ad's are still being posted.

And wahey they are back again

No, it's happening to me as well. My ad preferences are apparently totally ignored by the ads on BCF. I'm certainly not into cougars or Chinese/Russian/Thai girls that are on the hunt for a UK passport, and yet those same ads keep coming up.

:edit: ...and now I'm getting sofas. Wut?

I am getting them nearly every page now, I have deleted history, cache, my ad preferences, opted out of interest based ads, not signed into Google and still they come....do do doooooo (dedle-lee dedle-lee)do do doooooo (dedle-lee dedle-lee)

I haven't had cougar life/asian singles since google ads had a paddy. I'm still getting the pink rectangle a fair amount. Occasionally I get the ebay bar up there.

Dating ads should be now be blocked entirely. It might take a few hours for all of them to die off.

Sorry about this, but Google have only just re-instated the ads on BCF - after they pulled them in December due to NSFW content, ironically - and my previous blocks got lost in the chaos.
