Would like some advice on how to fix the carb float needles as its pissing fuel out the overflow. When they shut, they seal perfectly. They are 100% clean and the rubber tips are good. Im not sure if the needle seats are too loose from being corroded or if the floats are lacking enough buoyancy.

The floats do float - therefore they are not leaking. They move smoothly but if I tilt carb upside down, the needles seem to stick 50% of the time.

The brass needle seats were corroded but cleaned up easily with a non scratch kitchen pad.

I stripped carb again today and put the float bowls back from below with great care so that I could be sure they would not stick. Connected tank and it pissed out overflow Mad

Is this a common problem with carbs? I dont think the brass seats are removable without machining?

TL:DR = Im not sure if the needle seats are too loose from being corroded or if the floats are lacking enough buoyancy

If the seats or the needles are corroded they are basically fecked and must be replaced best option is to look for another set of carbs/carb. What make and model is the bike?
