Somewhat related....I have an old 500 and a sports bike....I decided to take the sports bike on a 4000 mile trip. As mentioned by yourself and others, mtfu ____________________ If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough. |

I am with https://www.lynbrookins.co.uk/80480/info.php?p=3 for my 'H' FZR-R which costs me about £60 tpft pa which includes occasional travel abroad and breakdown cover.I prefer to have breakdown cover on all of my vehicles as you never know when 'THAT' occasion might arise.
On my R1 I have UK and Continental breakdown and recovery and that costs me £45 pa and it comes as part of my combined policy for my KTM and XR which includes foreign travel for £110 tpft pa. ____________________ Just talk bikes. What else is there?

Wotcha.
I've done a fair bit of mainland Europe on a bike that's over 50 years old - never broke down, didn't get killed - just do it. ____________________ Cheers.

You could have a trawl through this lot.

I had a quick butchers and it seems that the AA do cover for bikes of any age......at what price though?? I wouldn't like to hazard a guess.
I used to use Europ Assistance many years ago, they were very good on the one occasion I needed their help. They have been bought out recently and are now known as Aria Assistance.....looks like they no longer cover bikes now though. ____________________ Current: 2010 Suzuki GSX1340R Hayabusa, 2013 Yamaha YP250R X-Max Sport - Previous: Triumph Sprint ST1050ABS, Honda XL600V Transalp, Honda NT650V Dullsville (don't ask!), Kawasaki ZX9R E1, Honda NX650 Dominator, Suzuki GSX1300RKZ Hayabusa, Honda CBR1000FM, Kawasaki GPZ500S, etc etc |
