Look at the rust and corrosion. They look 20 years old.
I ride my bike in all weathers and my brake area (pads/discs) look in a lot better condition than that.
Looks to me like a combination of faulty ownership and dodgy pads. |

Ferodo eh? I can get those at a healthy discount now, but wasn't sure if they were any good, haven't heard anybody say so in a long time - actually haven't even heard them mentioned in a long time.
I gave up on EBC HHs. Far too hard on the discs, although worked ok.
Someone told me recently that EBC organics are good - any good for an FZS1000 (not particularly light bike, performance gets used on it)?
No idea what's on mine at the moment, been on there since I bought it, 12,000 or so miles ago, still some material left, but I'll be changing them soon. Wish I knew, cos they do seem to stop the heavy ol beast! |

So, after some diligent forensic investigation on the rear of one of the offending articles I can now reveal the origin...
...They're made in the UK...
... and yup you may have guessed already....
... folks we have here a proper wankered set of...

The chap at my local supplier said that you couldn't beat Brembo's, but at 48 quid a pair he can stick 'em where the sun don't shine ( ie. back in his stock room! ) ____________________ Make mine a Corona. |
