Stole the following picture from Google but am assuming it's the right part. I'm wanting to know which is the idle screw? When I got the bike yesterday it was idling very low and almost cutting out so the guy ran it too his mechanic to adjust. However, started it this morning and after initially idling at around 1400revs a blip of the throttle saw it rise and stay at 3000revs?

Not sure if this is because the engine's cold or whether the adjustment yesterday was fine but then after running it, perhaps I cleaned the sytem through a bit??

Choke is closed by the way Wink

On on the left of pic, bigger screw, under the throttle slide is the idle set screw.
Its just a pointy bolt, throttle slide falls onto tapered bit, more you screw it out, lower slide falls before it stops.
When adjusting, LIFT the throttle slide, twist idle set 1/4 either way, let slide back down onto stop, and re-check idle speed.
1/ Means that you dont end up screwing teh screw into the soft alloy of throttle slide if its a bit sticky.
2/ means actual idle speed has to settle to new stop position if slides a bit stickly.
