The correct solution for wind noise is earplugs. If you're not wearing earplugs and you do significant mileage at higher speeds, you're going to get permanent hearing loss.
Probably the reason for increased wind noise is more turbulence from the screen, and that's probably (I hope) because the screen is blocking off more of your body, moving the turbulence from your chest / neck area to your helmet. That's conjecture based on the ER6f having pretty dreadful wind protection in earlier models - anything above 80mph was pretty unpleasant.
(I solved that problem by getting a VFR instead.)
I should add that things you can do about it include getting a different screen and / or a touring bolt-on extension, but asking other people about them probably won't be as helpful as you think - you'll probably have to buy something and try it out - because it's highly dependent on your height, riding position, helmet etc. It's normally turbulent air that's noisiest, which means both a shorter or a taller screen could be better. ____________________ Bikes: S1000R, SH350; Exes: Vity 125, PS125, YBR125, ER6f, VFR800, Brutale 920, CB600F, SH300x4

I've got a 2012 and found it loud. The cheap tests.. Earplugs (as said) should be the first thing to try. The other thing is to try wearing a oxford comfy/snood or something like that. I found the wind was hitting my chest and going up into my lid. You can test this by moving your hand around the base of lid at speed.
If this doesn't work then it might be worth trying a touring screen. I bought a double bloody bubble ( for the vlogger haters) but found it made no difference.
Does the 2013 have an adjustable screen? Try it in all 3 positions. My best results are when the screen is at it's lowest, wearing a comfy around my neck, tucked into my jacket and lid while wearing ear plugs.
All of this was with a nolan n90. My shoei xr1100 is quieter anyway, but still need ear plugs as standard.

Cheeky monkey, Ze Beemer once saw 58mph while overtaking a tractor in a NSL.

Ah, thinking about it, the one I had was Wind Jammer branded. That stayed on just fine up to the limits of... oh... my 125.
