seriously? you'd rather have NO BIKE rather than a full power italian 2 stroke?
mmmm strange, each to their own though.
granted 3/4 of the aprilias will have been trashed or in bits, but not because they are un-reliable or of inferior quality (than japanese 4t) but because most will have been owned by spacktards with no idea how to maintain a race replica 125 (a lot are owned by young learners & they get dropped/crashed as well as being neglected)
i've owned a few & like most 2t's they are simple to repair if something does go wrong.
btw, why no cagiva mito?
comparing a 125 stroke to a 250 4 stroke just seems wrong, & i know which would be more fun to ride AND own.
the yzf-r AND the kwak 250 are not "supersports" imho..
to the op, do you have experience of mantaining a highly strung 2 stroke? cos, granted they do tend to need a bit of fettling (this is part of the fun for me but some folks dont like cracking open their tool-box).
if you want a bike you can just jump on + ride, without worrying about whether its warmed up enough, needs a fair bit of looking after + guzzles litres of expensive 2t oil then steer clear of the italian race replicas.
tbh, i think you should re-think your list, lol
cheers,

thanks for you knowledge I aprreacite it! but the deal is when you buy some used 2T, how do you know if it is okay? when you are visiting the seller, you have to be reall well-experienced and I am not. |

I've had a YZF 125, don't get one with an A2 You can ride one on a CBT, that alone says how much fun it will be. I don't agree with a lot of the bashing they get personally, for a 125 they're fun to ride and good bikes - they are very overpriced though even used.
Take advantage of your license and get something with a bit more kick and usability, you likely won't keep it all that long once you've got used to the bike/can move onto something bigger, even if you think you'll be happy with it most people will be craving for something bigger in a couple of years, save your money for that as its likely a bike you will keep for longer and get a lot more enjoyment out of.
The ninja 250s aren't too bad, although again quite expensive for what they are, the problem with a lot of these bikes is you're paying for the flash fairing more than anything - underneath and to ride they're not as fun and cool as they look sadly |
