My bike needs a new airbox and hose that goes from the airbox to the carb

it works out much cheaper to buy an after-market air filter (Ram-air in particular) how ever i am unsure about up jetting the carb to balance out the air to fuel ratio, is there a rule of thumb amount that i want to start out buy up jetting? how many sizes up should i go? i believe there is a 115 in the carb at the moment

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks Smile

Make and model of the bike would be a good start.

Don't bother. Two strokes don't work well on foam or pod filters. It will never run right unless you run with a standard air box.

However, to change the jetting on a two stroke is relatively easy. You can do a plug chop to tell you if it's running rich or lean etc. Even so, I'd not bother because I bet it wont ever run right on pod or cone filters.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Ok mate thanks for the advice i would rather pay the extra for a new standard airbox then than sacrifice it running well
