Kymco seem to be a fairly respected eastern brand, one of the better ones. Seems to be an older model, parts may be an issue.

Quick google search....... Rolling Eyes

Unless you really want a bike that looks like a hell's angel steed with a 125 block then the CG, YBR and GS are much more friendly learner bikes.

Try the Yamaha SR for a half way house.

gunna jump in before this gets too crowded.
don't let people talk you out of kymco, i had a sector 125 (sr125 copy) and it was literally a tank.
i had it for just under a year, had a crash on it. bent footpeg and bars. no repairs needed
mate got it off me, got rear ended on a mayday rally. some plastic welding and it was fine.
mate got it off him, had it a few months, passed test and gave it to his gf.
she had a relatively big crash on it. was still rideable.

was a spot on learner bike, i think i got it for £500. sold it for about £400.

literally never broke down or failed to start.

edit, same as this. i would have one again

Kmyco is a decent Taiwanese brand. Parts should be interchangeable with other 156/157FMI engines and other clones of whatever Japanese bike the Zing is a copy of.

It needs to be really cheap though, since it'll be a problem to sell it on.

Me, mossy and chris know a girl with one. And to be fair hers may be a bit of a wreck but it's down to her lack of maintenance. I'd say tbf it's a fairly good mule, considering the lack of care it gets it still soldiers on. Thumbs Up

well here's the video of it and please watch if your buying one as there rubbish if brought from the wrong people as I live somewhere where there just isn't anybody around who will touch them as there imports.

and if you do get a problem its about 3 hundred quid a time every time as the only people that do touch them make out there having to travel back and forth japan for bits.
don't buy please they look good but that's all ive been ripped off since the day I brought it.

Why would someone go to Japan to get parts for a bike made in Taiwan?

Looks like you got fucked in the elbow (as far as you can tell).

importers MASCO are in shropshire, and very knowledgable and helpful in my experience, (british dealer news scooter franchise of the year 2013)

only thing wrong I found with kymco motorbikes is they are fitted with taiwanese drive chains, so replace it before it breaks/seizes or wears out quickly, otherwise they're fine, I've ridden both a zing and a pulsar

yea the bike still run's I take care off it but its costly and I haven't had any bumps as yet. but since I brought the kymco zing the first week the gears went then lights problem then the back brake keeps locking which is the third time and when it first happened its beacause im using it to much. then when I tell them I don't go fast so i don't use it much at all as i live in the hills valleys there isn't traffic im not using the brake enough.
oh i didn't get to ripped off as its 2014 and people don't let bike shops just rip them off now theres to many people you can pay to get your back. bike shops should remember that.

Paying 300 quid a time for electrical gremlins and a sticky rear drum... you got ripped off and appear too potato to know it.

Pay them then as you sound like you've been bent over with no lube a few times.

People who construct prose such as that are the future of our fine nation.

I'm so proud that I could literally shit.

It's like it's trying to communicate. I swear it almost seems like a kind of primitive language. Thinking
