Hi all,

Bought my YBR125 last month knowing that the MPH dial doesn't work. (Rev counter does work)

Automatically bought a new cable before doing any diagnostics but turns out the old cable was fine. If I turn the cable by hand while its connected to the clocks then the needle does flicker so im guessing that means the part in the front wheel hub is at fault.

Just wanting to double check this is the correct part I need, and if so, is it easy enough to change?

Bike isn't easily accessible at the minute so I can't just go and have a look until the day I actually replace it.

Heres the part ive found on ebay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRAND-NEW-SPEEDO-PICK-UP-DRIVE-GEAR-for-YAMAHA-YBR125-/330672517994?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item4cfd9e336a

But my local parts shop have them in stock for about £11.

Cheers.

Very easy to change wheel off, swap unit, replace wheel.
I would have the old wheel out first and make sure no-one has missed the little ring when they've had the wheel off.
