Bar ends?

On the annoying scale, it doesn't rank as high as, say, having a steam roller running over my c0ck or dating a social worker but it is mildly irritating. I mean, who the f@ck goes around nicking bar ends?

They can't be worth much although I'm about to find out and what are they going to do with them? Make a pair of earrings?

I love biking and have loved it for the last 20+ years but I hate the tea leaving b@stards who prey on the biking community. Just once in my life I'd love to get my hands on them.

# rant over. #

Could be worse, I came back to my bike in 1998 to find that someone had stolen the front calipers.

Yeah you've probably lost one without realising and the other shortly after making it seem as though they have both disapeared all of a sudden.

Came out of Tesco's once to find 2 blokes in suits messing with my bike.
One bar end was gone but they legged it before they got the other one off.

I had to buy a pair recently for my Daelim and was horrified at the cost. I can't remember whether they were twenty odd quid each or twenty odd quid for a pair.
I ended up getting a pair from The Bay Of E. They set me back around three quid and that included postage from China! Mind you, they didn't fit without a fair bit of machining Laughing

took a phone call from a customer once who had just taken delivery of a brand new kawasaki GT550, and he lived in london

during the night, both wheels with tyres, discs and all three calipers were removed from it, obviously some light fingered courier!

my tax disc got pinched once off my old Speedfight, as well as one out of the car a few months earlier.

When the whole scooter got nicked it took me a good few minutes to realise. Bleary eyed for a 3.30 am start, down the steps from my flat, tried to climb over the bloody thing and fell in a heap. Couple of minutes trying to work out if I'd brought the van home instead, but realised I was wearing my helmet and gloves, so no. Bastards.

I'd just be happy they didn't steal the bike or anything else that'd cost money or inconvenient me. They aren't that good anyway, can barely see anything with them. Thinking

Shoulder checks and you're all good. I only ever use a right mirror. Perfect for looking who is behind you. Wink

Laughing I would have sat out after the first two times and waited for them to come back.

Don't understand why someone would steal it that way, not even worth much. Laughing

Someone stole my heated grips temperature control dial once.

Mildly annoying as it was turning cold enough to use them. Mad

Had a tax disc (and holder) stolen too.

Feckers.. Confused
