If its a points model check the power wire for the points is insulated on the points from the points metal assembly, usually one tiny plastic washer that insulates the but/bolt from said power wire.
If its a cdi job then check that the small wires from the tiny pulse coil are OK.
Follow Bunny Mingus,s instructions.
The power/lighting/pulse/ignition coils are in av very hot part of the engine so become quite brittle and don't like being moved around much......also check the block connector from the coils......finally....check for side/center stand cut out. ____________________ nearly a normal tax paying tosser.......with ferrileness suzi100,cg125,cb125scb100n,cb175,cd100,cj250t,kh250,c15,125 bantam, super 6,rickman gs750,xt500,250rs,dt175,lifan125,dolomite1850,metro,Morris220ld,morrisfg,leyland princess, range rover, corsa,vw camper .now struggling with legs.
