Hi guys I've just brought another dtr 125 03 reg.. Basically only did 60,
I made sow adjustments and cleaned out the carb
But...
I was getting the over flow problem so I managed to get this sorted by pressing on the clip in the float

But now I'm not getting any fuel into the carb, if I stick some petrol into the spark plug it fires up straight away

Any ideas pls

you have basically shut the valve on the float so no fuel is getting to the bowl

re-adjust the "clip" on the float an you should be onto a winner

There's a fairly important thing called 'float height'...

Seems you either weren't aware of it or completely ignored it. If it's wrong, you'll never get the fuelling right, however many 'sow adjustments' you attempt to make.

The specified float height will be in the workshop manual, usually accompanied by instructions on how to set it.
