Does anybody know what this noise is and why it's doing it?

The fuel tank 'whistles' frequently especially when I've come back from a run and the engine heat rises around the tank. Not peculiar to ER6's I'm told several Kawasaki models do it.

It does seem to be a Kwak trait, my GPZ500 whistled like a kettle.

It's louder than the horn on these bikes is.
It's kind of a Thomas the tank engine sound.

But mine has never done it as far as I know.

Defo tank pressure venting. I usually just open the petrol tank cap and let the gas evacuate.
