Hydraulic and fluid is fresh used everyday and chain tension is about right.

Check that the clutch is not dragging and that the clutch fluid level and Clutch pushrod operation is correct allowing the clutch to lift fully between gear changes (front sprocket cover casing), another possible cause is that the clutch simply needs bleed but that might point to a leak in the hydraulic system so well worth a look before doing anything drastic.

remove the clutch slave cylinder and clamp the piston back so it cannot move (with a u clamp or similar). This will greatly aid bkeeding the clutch system. it is very hard to get a hydraulic clutch to work correctly without doing this.
