Seen quite a few threads now on your various trips and looks like a good few regulars are having a good time..

I've found a comfortable setting on the old daytona and I'm now realising I need to see some of the world by bike before I get the middle age spread on...

Are there any more trips planned this year? Any thoughts on 2015??

Yea there are a few of us that go out fairly regularly around the Weymouth/Bournemouth area.

How far North/West are you?

I don't think we really have anything more planned for this year, but next summer we have the Euro-Jolly Pt 3 to Switzerland. There's currently a thread on it which I imagine will get much more active nearer the time Thumbs Up

Just... don't do a Prosnap.

Where in Somerset are you mate? Am also in the Shire.

Next year is shaping up to be good for trips, Eurojolly mk3 should be good and I'm sure there will be more, anybody have any interest in seeing some WW1 stuff next year?

Nothing large planned until next year now I think - likely get a few more day-rides in locally though when the weathers good. I'm down in Bournemouth but go up to Bristol occasionally and ride around that area too Thumbs Up and theres a group of us that meet up quite regularly from around Dorset and a little further.

If its not too far for you, a good few of us should be going down Poole bike night this Tuesday as its the last one of the year Thumbs Up welcome to pop down if you want.

Next year so far have Wales/Europe being planned for definate, probably a couple more if people can squeeze them in Razz

I'm near Salisbury so if you do come on one, meeting in this general area would work for you, A303 ish.

As said, the next planned one at the moment is the Eurojolly to swiss, I imagine we'll get in another weekender before that, I need to get another bike though, unfaired flame throwing pan isn't ideal.

The BCF touring crew as you put it is not an arranged group, any BCF members are welcome, it just turns out that many of the same people have gone on them, they have so far all been a great success, no arguing, no fights and only one crash.

I wouldn't mind a cheap 4-5 day pootle around the West coast of ScotBritland

Just get a cheap B&B for three-four nights and use that as a base, then stretch the legs around. Keeping the costs down to fuel and some basic grub.

Bournemouth's only about 35 miles from where I am, when are you doing the next one?

I doubt they'll be going 135MPH (roughly top speed of XJ-6, I've gotten to 127MPH myself... on private land of course) everywhere, I'm guessing it would be fine?

Not so much a ride-out, but a few of us are probably going to Poole bike night this Tuesday I think - usually meet up in the Asda Superstore carpark at BH15 1JQ around 6PM if you fancy coming along.

The Poole bike night? Been meaning to do that for a while now, love to.

I have a horrible feeling I'm doing a late that night until 7PM, shame it's not a normal day finishing at 6PM as I could leave an hour early and make up the time later. Damn. Will have to see what I can do...

I would say don't worry you can come to the next one, but its the last one of the year this Tuesday unfortunately Doh! starts again in April.

No idea what the turn-out will be like, if the weathers a bit grey it cuts the numbers a fair bit as the polished-brigade don't turn up, but hopefully as its the final one there should be a decent amount of bikes Thumbs Up
