Ordered 105 46/36 170mm chainset for the TCX
Ordered Schwalbe Racing Ralph tyres fof the TCX

Re-adjusted all mechs on the TCX/Cube, and the missus's Giant Avail Thumbs Up

Now just to get off my ass and ride them Laughing

Also signed up for another cyclocross event in the Isle of Bute in September plus a HillClimb and Novice Road Race - Should be a good weekend.

Not much.
Managed to lay my hands on an old Cannondale MTB frame in 16" for £28 possibly for the misses and arranged a deal to buy an old Trek 8700 Carbon frame and Tange fork next month for £90.

Cleaned the chain and gave the bike a wipe down with some baby wipes. About it.

My rides are mostly in the evening and always off road thus I need lights!!

Cleaned and setup the derailleur. Fixed the rear puncture.
Changed tyres to Schwalbe City Marathons. <<<Great tyres.
Fitted the rear pannier rack.
Lowered the seat and then gave it to a friend.

I'm not in a cycling mood so he may as well use it.

Looked at them through the cellar window as I took the rubbish out. Less computer and more bike time I think.

Decided to go with Clements PDX instead - fitted, they look purposeful! Twisted Evil

Removed old FSA chainset and couldn't fit the CX Shimano chainset as the spindle is 24mm instead of the current 19mm - New BB86 bearing ordered should be here tomorrow! Thumbs Up

Reset the front and rear brake calipers! There is NO WAY in hell a brake lever should go back to the bar!

I think these formula C1 brakes need a bleed before I head down some technical descents! You can't even lock up the rear wheel on a fistful!

Wheeled the Stumpjumper out of the garage for the first time in months, and did about 3 1/2 hours of trails on the Quantock Hills.

This place is still awesome, finding new routes even after 12 years of riding there.

I fitted a different water bottle holder to my XC/Strava bike and had a properly fitting water bottle for the first time. It made quite a difference on my ride not having to stop and unscrew a bottle top every time I wanted a drink! Laughing

Next on my list is to raise the stem on my DJ bike by one headset spacer and to get some Shimano (or any brake) mineral oil so I can shorten and bleed a Saint rear brake for my DH bike.

Fitted the bottom bracket bearing and new chainset.
Did the final wee adjustments to gears and brakes.

Finished my straight bar conversion on the roadie:

Salvaged MTB bars from an old bike
Fitted a cheapo friction shifter for the front
Fitted Shimano 9speed shifters with integrated brake lever
Fitted new cables and outers
Just need to buy some grips and I'm done

Rode it from work.

Need to replace pedals but don't have the money for clip ins so need pedals that don't look daft on a road bike.

My fucking left crank arm is coming loose pretty much every mile. I've only done about 100 mile on it. Still waiting to hear back from the shop. Thumbs Down

I'm taking some loctite.

If it just needs loctite I don't mind I'll sort it out. But at the minute I only use it for the 1 mile ride to work and 1 mile back. Even then it's a flat road and I don't exactly go for it lol.

I've done one 20+ mile trip since I've had it.

Just don't want it to turn out to be defective.

I suspect your bottom bracket is of a higher quality than the 1997 £99 (MSRP) bike I gave to my mate. So hold the loctite and hassle that shop.
