Having a few issues with the GSXR. It randomly cuts out in only in first gear, or so I've noticed. It's never happened in neutral. I noticed it a week or so ago when pulling up to a set of lights. Apply brakes pull the clutch in and the engine stops. It's starts intermediately on the button with no hesitation. Any ideas?

Is the fuel low when this happens?

Not particularly. Probably ranging from 3/4 to fuel light on

Checked the tip-over sensor isn't loose?

Side stand cut out?

Not checked the tip sensor. Seems to make most sense. Guessing would only have an effect in gear?

Side stand switch removed for being broken. New one on the way.

Tip sensor will trigger regardless of being in gear or not.
If it was me i would get under the tank and check all the pipe work, make sure its all attached properly and none are damaged or worn.

Presumably if it was the tip sensor it would act up even when moving?

If you just leave it ticking over in neutral, without touching the bike at all, is it all fine?

How about in neutral but blipping the throttle as you were in the video?

And then in first with the clutch in but without touching the throttle?

Just trying to narrow down possible causes.

Hmm this looks similar to my issue here I was in first when the bike stalled too but I don't think it's gear related my bike wasn't stalling in neutral and was fine at lights.

idles fine. Sounds stable with no wobble in the needle, both in gear and out of gear with clutch in and out.

Only when snapping the throttle shut as per video does it stall. Tend to notice it quite a bit on my journey through London to work as you have to do a lot of sudden stops. If I'm smooth off the throttle then it seems fine. Problem seems identical to the hornet video above.
