Got sent this from Bridgestones tech department, could prove useful for others so I have decided to chuck it up for all to view.

don't bridgestone recommend the same tire pressures across the entire board, like for everything.

I would go of the bikes hand manual if I were you

The bikes hand manual pressures are based solely on the oem tyre unless stated.

Problem is, I've never found tyre manufacturers psi specs that nice to ride on.

I tend to use 36/42 on most things, but sometimes that is just deadly, things like the Varadero had 30/34 regardless of tyre fitted and it was superb.

so you would ride a GS5 on the same tyre pressure as a R1? I wouldn't. I ran the GS on 38 for solo and 42 for pillion on the rear, don't recall the front off hand.

The 400 I actually run 2 PSI high on the front and Suzuki specs on the rear

fyi my tyres aren't recommended on my bike by Bridgestone bt090pro but they work very well, I figured that info would be useful for some, I run 37.5 rear and 34 front.
