Personally I'd go for the XJ6N if it's the newer version. ER6 has too much of a riding school reputation to it, more so than the XJ6. ____________________ I want your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle.

I would go for the one I found more comfortable to ride.
Best advice is to ride both and see which you prefer ____________________ Yamaha FZS600 (Now gone to heaven) > CBR600F4i (SOLD) > '99 YZF-R1 |

i think its a personal thing, they are completly different bikes
the xj is just shy of 100hp and the er6 is only just 50hp
do you really need more than 50hp?? probably not,
do you want a bike that you can easily do 120 with some left?
may be
i'd still go for the er6n despite it being clearly the lesser bike
im comfortable enough to realise that more hp doesnt make me automatically a better rider ____________________ the humans are dead

My ER6f would do just over 130 (satnav), the fairing might make a difference to that though. Also the stock power is claimed to be 71bhp.. |
