I don't know what sort of bike we're talking about, but to be honest I don't see why anyone buys a bike new. You're always going to lose money from the price you paid for it. But choose wisely buying second hand and you won't lose half as much!
my vote is with the 2nd hand one ____________________ "The problem with the French is they have no word for 'entrepreneur' " George W Bush

It's 0215hrs... I seem to be missing a few key points.
It's a CBR125. With it being registered since March it should of being broken in a bit aswell.

I will not buy another new bike.
I blew the engine on my MZ within the warranty period (the warranty was the main reason for buying new). They have had it for FIVE weeks now, right in the middle of the rally season. When I look at the money I have spent on getting it garaged serviced (I am perfectly capable of doing this myself for 1/4 of the price (6X services, it adds up), and I would know it had been done properly!), I could have got a reconditioned engine and fitted it for the same cost and been back on the road within a couple of days. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. I think that it's generally not worth buying a new bike unless the price is stupidly low (like new SV 650's are now). Also I don't intend to buy any old bikes as they always need something fixing and are more prone to mechanical failures.
Newish second hand bikes are they way to go. |

2nd hand gets my vote, why blow all that money as soon as you ride out of the showroom. |
