hi there basically i finally got my gs back together bits that are new

Moto Batt battery
New carb
New ignition coil
New inlet rubber
New ignition barrel
Engines been apart top end off all cam marks line up.. So 99% sure timing spot on

It starts on button revs well past 6 k with clutch in just misfires under load.

New carb it was off good old eBay i had a problem with a sticking open float on it when i first fitted it, it said in the add jetted to uk spec model Gs 125 witch mine is as far as I'm aware you they don't have a mixture screw on the diaphragm carbs

If it's only mis-firing under load, I would suspect the Spark Plug (check electrode gap and insulator condition), HT Lead or Spark Plug Cap.

I would still check the Spark Plug gap - unless you are sure you did it accurately when you fitted it - just 'cos it's easier than stripping the carb.

A mate of mine had a bad misfire under load on his car after a service, and all 4 brand-new plugs were set too wide. Re-gapped to .0025" and problem solved.

Could also be float height, I guess - especially if it is set too low, but also check fuel flow through the needle valve in case there's an obstruction in the fuel line.
