Awesome! Haven't seen one of these in a while a friend of mine had one when we were younger. Basically a ZXR400 motor (with shorter gearing) in a KR1-S chassis (frame/swingarm).  |

I think the ZXR relation (beyond the engine) is wrong but I wouldn't stake my house on it either
My understanding is
ZX10 evolved/replaced by ZZR1100
ZX4 was the Jap domestic 400 mini thing of the ZX10 so its successor was the ZX400k (ZZR400) in 1990 (hence the commonality on the swingarm and forks)
ZXR400 was the jap domestic mini thing of the ZXR750
All academic though really whatever the "spiritual" successor, I look forward to following this build  |
