Just curious really. I am back in the UK for now, and last time I got lots of offers for borrowing a bike.

Did learn last time that it /does/ have to be switched in to my name, or the insurance isn't valid

125cc/250cc perfectly fine, just after something to poddle around on, and zero NCB at present.

Based in Hertfordshire.

Failing that, anyone have anything cheap to sell?

I was looking more for <400 / 500 max, an er5 or GPZ500 would be great. But so would a cb250 or 400.

It really is just as a sensible run around for a month or two, and the cheaper to run the better. Most excellent would be barmuffable

I don't mind spending some money on maintaining it as well, just conscious of not biting off more than I can chew.
